  "Tim is great as both a personal trainer and a martial arts instructor. He gave me a free consultation and suggested a new way of looking at the food I eat. He asked what my goals were and has been working with me towards meeting those goals for the past two months. I look forward to my weekly training sessions. Tim has shown me body-weight exercises which I can do at work or at home. They are very effective. I have increased muscle mass and have reduced body-fat since beginning to work with him. Tim understands how to work with and around injured areas. I have a 3 year old rotator cuff injury which I notice less and less as I rebalance and build strength in my shoulders. He understands how to work with and break through limitations in flexibility, speed, strength, and agility, and he is aware of the importance of breathing correctly through any exercise. Several times I have found myself feeling clumsy and slow (correcting bad habits, and forming new ones is always hard work), but Tim continues to keep a positive outlook and is willing to slow down and simplify exercises in order to meet my needs and help me reach my goals. Tim teaches an MMA style that has Jeet Kune Do as the foundation and the goals of self-preservation and self-improvement. He teaches about the flow of a fight and what to do to protect against single or multiple attackers (armed or unarmed). After learning the basics, the real beauty of the art begins to show itself in drills that focus on specialized situations. I have seen steady improvements in technique, speed, footwork, strength, stamina, and confidence since beginning to study martial arts with Tim. "

  "I first started training with Tim about three months ago. In the dim and distant past I had trained in Japanese Martial arts and even though it has been more than twenty years, I was very drawn to a training session that I saw Tim delivering.
